...Lap of the Gods Revisited from their Rainbow Theatre performance of '74, either the Nov 19 or 20th? Preferably both! I saw a great version of the song from the 20th on YouTube and would love to get a copy of the FLAC--I went to queenconcerts.com which is usually a great source for finding live stuff but they didn't have anything. Can anyone help me out?
Secondarily, so far that performance is my favorite live performance of the song--I also loved his performances of it in '86, but they are so different I all but consider it a different song. Any input on a favorite version of Lap...Revisited would be appreciated as well.

It's simple.
1. Buy Box Of Tricks, e.g. from here : http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Queen-Box-Tricks-CD-Video-Patch-Badge-T-Shirt-New-/190459938571?pt=UK_CDsDVDs_CDs_CDs_GL&hash=item2c584c070b 2. Get a PAL VHS player. If you don't have one (anymore), buy it or ask a friend if (s)he has one. 3. Put the OFFICIAL Live at Rainbow VHS tape into the VHS player 4. Connect the audio output from your VCR to the audio input at your computer 5. Start any audio editor and press the record button 6. Press the play button at your VCR

Google is your friend. As for a favourite version of the song, this is probably it. Only on this tour did Freddie sing the melody like the album.

I thought he also sang it on the Magic Tour like the album (doing the falsettos, right notes, etc)?

Ah yes, of course. I'm just comparing the 74 versions to 75-77.

Dear Scollins,
until now there's no sign that it's existing. What makes you thinking it's just out there?
