Thank you very much, Jam Monkey! I'm truly amazed nobody replied as yet. This should become a sticky, but I guess if it did, your mediafire account would end up just as DaveRFuller's youtube one. :)

Cheers,

If you're including "rumoured" tracks, you may as well add "Let me In (Your Heart Again)" which was confirmed by Greg at convention about 5 years ago. I think it was the last convention at Prestatyn when he publically announced during his archive session he'd listened to it a few nights earlier...

Wonderful idea, but I would prefer a better formatting with more details you know about each recording :-)
Maybe starting something like http://www.queendemos.info/ could be better , what do you think ?

Great work JM, but I think your post has been truncated, as it seems to be missing AKOM onwards.

Hi GN, it ends before AKOM as this is part one.  He says more to follow!

So far JM this is fantastic, thanks for keeping the demo idea going strong.

JamMonkey, this is a fantastic idea.

I am in the process of organising all my Queen tracks in iTunes, so that I can delete duplicates and identify which versions of songs I have accumulated over these many years.  I use the following website to identify which version of a song I have (queenpedia.com) and your list will be very helpful too.  Is it worth contacting the owner of QueenPedia to see if they want to centralise all this info on their site.

I still have the PC-game 'the eYe' and would like to extract the many fantastic remixes from the game.  Does anyone know how to do this?
I'm a long time queen fan from back in the late 70's. Favourite albums are Queen II and Blue Rock. Cheers to everyone from Melbourne, Aus.

If you want to get the songs from the eYe discs, just load them into your computer and iTunes should import them.

Weren't there a lot of mixes made for the eYe that never made it onto the game? I think they were listed in "The Art of Queen: The eYe" but no details were included. Does anyone know anything more about these?

Interesting tracks those JM. Regarding the "Dragon Attack (Instrumental)", is it significantly different from the version on "The eYe" disc? I know the drum solo is remixed but are there any other differences?

It's just standard  wav files on the CDs and you should have no trouble ripping them into your PC like a normal CD.
Be aware that some songs are truncated and there's a nasty glitch in the middle of "You Don't Fool Me" (or at least there is on mine!)
You And I (Convention Recording)

Another mostly instrumental track, but this time with some backing vocals present. This version doesn’t fade out like the album, so there is some extra material present at the end. After the track proper ends there is some ad-libbed piano and drums.

All Dead All Dead (Convention Recording)

An instrumental version of this track, very close to the album version. At the end of the track there are a few seconds of silence and then a short piano coda, which obviously never made it on to The News Of The World; it’s a short but beautiful moment that adds a lot to the emotion of the song.
Excellent.  So who's going to get them out there?
