The video (on fact the youtube video was made and subtituled in spanish for me) is from a Rare Version from the Greatest flix released Specially and only in Usa.. Apparently Was called "Greatest Hits" and The set list is this:
Will Rock You We Are The Champions Another One Bites The Dust Killer Queen Somebody To Love Fat Bottomed Girls Bicycle Race You're My Best Friend Crazy Little Thing Called Love Now I'm Here Play The Game Seven Seas Of Rhye Body Language Save Me Don't Stop Me Now Good Old Fashioned Lover Boy I Want To Break Free Bohemian Rhapsody (Original Version) We Will Rock You - 1991 Remix (Credits)
And here there´s an image from "snow producciones" web page: http://queen.snowproducciones.com.ar/HITS1.jpg The web master from Snow P. say me a long time ago is a "Do ro" Version of the greates flix but i can´t asegurate this cause i don´t have any copy of this Vhs. The web master also say me he has a complete (and with excelent quality...altought SP has a little confuse "parameter" for excelent quality ha ha) "Bring back that leroy brown" video From the earls court second night... But again i can´t asegurate nothing...
Greetings!

But i don´t know why they posted "you take my breath away" from first night (in conjuntion with the absoulute greatest) if the version from the second night is a bit better cause doesn´t has the blow amp noise (that they had to remove)....
Maybe there's something wrong with the master tape of the second night by that point. Or maybe they just thought the first night's performance was better.
Or maybe they simply chosed randomly a video from each night (You take from First Night And Killer Queen From The second) QP has a very rare criteria,I must say.....
Greetings!

Yes, the video footage from the second night does exist.

Of course, the pink Greatest Hits. I grew up on that CD, and the video had the same track listing. It wasn't rare in the US and Canada. You could buy it anywhere when it came out in the early 90s.

Well, we'll see if that's true. He's done nothing to earn anyone's trust.
Cheers!

Yes GT, we know it exists. We've seen it ourselves. What we want to know is how much exists? Is the quality consistent? Is there a multi-track of audio in the archives to make a DVD release possible? Even if they just have a mono video feed, that's still good enough for a DVD. It was good enough for The Who for the Kilburn 1977 release.
These are the questions we want answered, GT.. not vague responses that amount to nothing more than carrot dangling. You gave a similar (but much more snide) response in a thread related to Paris 2-27-79. Who are you trying to amuse?

The 'Greatest Hits' VHS (Hollywood HR401443) that you mention was released in conjunction with the CD of the same name in the USA in 1992, after the success of the 'Classic Queen' compilation CD and VHS. Here's a pic.

GT, at first you seemed like a breath of fresh air, but now it seems like you and Greg are two heads from the same monster, talking mostly about the Greatest Hits packages, giving only the easy answers, and nothing that interests the true fans. Thanks for posting the scan to confirm the VHS situation, but your initial comment was completely uncalled for.
If you scroll through this thread, and this forum as a whole, you see a bunch of people dedicated to locating every small piece of footage, with obvious gaps to fill in, and you choose to go out of your way to indicate that you have the ability to help but won't. Very classy.
When will the dialogue between fans and Queen Productions finally become meaningful.. ? Ever?

I would like to keep details about certain shows for inclusion in the 'Queen Live: A Concert Documentary' book. Everything you ever wanted to know about Queen in the live domain will be revealed in this publication.
People always go off on a tangent in any topic. My help with the 'Greatest Hits' CD/VHS was in response to somebody's question....just like you answered.

Not likely. There are plenty of recordings in the hands of fans and stealth tapers that QP doesn't have copies of. No book will ever tell all. The fact that you spent some time downloading audience recordings from this very website clearly indicates that you didn't have all the necessary information at your disposal.
All that aside, do you honestly think your book will sell less copies if you post information on a forum?

This thread is about Earls Court 77, and the tangent was the Greatest Hits VHS. You responded only to the tangent. Pot, meet kettle.

========================== Dear GT,
1) About certain shows? May I say we will gonna see the old trick happening? So all the info that is already known by the public concerning the footage and snippets that can be seen on the various released DVD's and documentaries
2) Or ....all the videos, snippets, interviews and audioconcerts that are known to be in the archives of QP, the BBC, Brian May (like the multitracks of the Crazy tour topic) etc ?
Hope you can aswer my question... will it be option 1 or 2?
Best

Here is more info about the Good Old fashioned loverboy. At some point this was released on a videocd as well and featured besides the doro version of Good Old Fashioned loverboy , also the DORO versions of SEVEN SEAS OF RHYE (dubbing with tokyo 85) and A WINTERS TALE (various footage) and the TOO MUCH LOVE WILL KILL YOU....
Was there a video from Classic Queen as well ?
I remeber that 1992 (hollywood) rockumentary.....
Here is precise info about the good old fashioned loverboy.
I have very strange feeling that I saw the moment where Freddie wore a mask during performing some song (it very seems that it was Brighton Rock) from the Earls Court but since first night video doesn't match this moment, it can be from the second night.

This could be interesting. Where did you see the video? Are you sure it was an actual video, and not some home-made youtube video that used a photo of Freddie with the mask?

So Gary, getting back on track off your tangent, there are questions waiting to be answered...
