Who's the artist

There's a song I used to like a lot while growing up. I don't know the singer,but I think the title is "I Know. I know". And the singer is a female. I had it on a cassette called "New Disco '86" So must be from 1986.

Can anyone idetnify the singer for me?

probably a duo called Tegan and Sara. Don't know anything else.....Could be a cover of the John Lennon song but I doubt it.

OK maybe this will help - there were some other sings in the acsette which was able to track on the internet, and they all seem to be classified as "Italo Disco". Well, all these are English language songs, not Italian so i am a bit lost :-|

Anyway, I am sure the title was "I Know, I Know". And now that i think about it, I rememebr some of the lyrics went "lover i'm waiting for your touch, you're driving me crazy, you're talking too much" :-D

was it a rock song or a pop song? British/American or other?

ironically when i typed the words "lover im waiting for your touch 1986" i was greeted with Queen:a kind of magic lol

I just thought of the "more info" I wrote abve aabout Italo Disco and just used the combination to search in Google and got it!

So its I Know, I Know by Sylvie Sanders!
