May I be the first to say thanks in advance, Olivier and Rob :)
Olivier, would you say this was an upgrade to the original version listed above, or is it basically the same?

This is not an upgrade. Uxbridge just bootlegged the master tape that was shared here. Perhaps they corrected the speed or EQ'd it a bit (I haven't compared it yet), but it's still the exact same source tape.

Thanks Sir GH! If you do get round to checking whether it's worth downloading again, please would you be so kind to let us know?? :))
Thanks!

No upgrade but still nice to have... Thank you very much!

Yep, no upgrade here, just a matter of personal taste. If you prefer sticking to the masters as they were recorded, then Rob's version is the best. But this is just a matter of playing with the sound, to make it sound better to your own ears and appreciation... with the risk of deteriorating the frequencies. Any modification / remastering should always be made from the masters when possible, it is more dangerous to start from a bootleg version. But of course, some masters are held by the bootleg companies themselves and aren't available anywhere, so obviously you just can be satisfied they made it out, and make do with what they did of it (I think about Gypsy Eye for example).
In the present case, it's just your personal taste that counts. No matter what version you prefer, if you still remember that the first person to thank is Rob, and not Uxbridge. He took the risks, Uxbridge took the money ;o)

Olivier, Belgium.

Olivier,
Thanks for the credit, much appreciated. I do want to clarify one thing about the late seventies/early eighties when I taped shows. Many of you bring up the risk, and I never viewed it as a risky proposition. At the time, security guards were much more interested in drugs and alcohol, and bands (other than King Crimson) didn't make it an issue that security needed to be concerned about. I must have taped over 50 shows and I was only stopped once, and that was with a tape deck, camera, and Super 8 and I immediately just went in another entrance.
The one sacrifice made when I taped, was that you just couldn't sit back and totally enjoy the show, because you were paying attention to time to make clean tape flips......but at the time, I did that purely for myself, I never would imagine that so many years later they would end up in the hands of many so many Queen fans.

Firstly - thanks to Olivier for sharing this bootleg and to Rob for recording it in the first place. As Olivier so rightly said, Rob takes the risks, Uxbridge takes the money...
For anybody who needs Disc 2 (or the rest of it, for that matter!) I'll make a torrent. It will be up in a couple minutes.
