How so?  I've heard this was shot independently from the Hungarian film crew... by someone from ITV.  The fact that the ITV archives were credited in the Becoming Queen credits and not the Hungarian company should indicate who owns (and filmed) the footage.

Yes, it is the same footage, filmed by Channel 4 crew on one camera with zoom. You can find much better version in documentary called "Biography - Freddie Mercury" from A&E TV, which was also shared here.

No. The quality is far too good to be a screengrab from the 16 camera version, UNLESS the original film has been found.
As far as I'm aware, only a VHS version of the 16 screens survives.
