By what right do they do? Are they gone mad?
They do it because they can. Anything up on that site which could/should be making them money, and isn't licenced to do so, can be blocked. The record companies haven't got the hang of social media, and don't understand that every post is publicity.
You may get used to it. They're all cracking down on it, unless any band in question gives tacit approval.

Record companies sorely need to get with the times!
I hope DaveRFuller's videos are soon to follow.
Some of the ones that have been blocked are actually on the offical queen page, so whoever is in charge of that should question it really!!!

I'm 50/50 on that. I think they should pull things like the karaoke tracks; I've gotten in trouble for stuff that's a lot less infringing than the official karaoke tracks, and it's galling that they're still available on Youtube.
Stuff like Brian May singing Hot Patootie should remain up though; mainly because everyone deserves to hear that.

I think its out of order that EMI have done this
Why? Officially licensed material should be purchased to be viewed / listened to.
Would you give your work away for free to your employer?
