From the latest issue of Rolling Stone.  (RS 1119, Dec 9, 2010)

Q:  What singers really move you?

A:  Freddie Mercury.  Queen's music sounds like theathre and that's something that Freddie brought to rock.  "Killer Queen" and "Somebody To Love"  all those big-ass arrangements.  He didn't think small, and even when he did, it was for minimalist masterpieces like "We Will Rock You" or "Another One Bites The Dust".  I just think he's awesome, and he's a gorgeous vocalist.

RIght on, Cee Lo, so do we.  I can see Freddie being a fan of Cee Lo's latest track.
There are a number of things that happen in life that make you realise you're getting old.
One of those is not having a clue who most of the people in the music charts are anymore....
The other is buying albums by The Chelsea Pensioners. Thankfully I can't see that happening for some time (unless Brian does a guitar solo on one of their tracks...)
Good on Cee Lo for the Freddie love.

"Fuck You" is an incredibly fun song that everyone should check out at least once.
"The tri-tone is the Devil's interval, and he demands resolution." - Richard Lloyd
'Rolling Stone' ? - Hah! - they'll be miffed at someone praising Fred in their pox-ridden rag,
