we had a shedload of snow down here in Cornwall thankfully its melted in Porthleven now, what bugs me is the lack of pavements being gritted though

I'm in Copenhagen, and we have plenty of snow too, and it came unusually early!
I think this winter is going to go to history as one of the longest and coldest in a very long time.

12 car accidents on my way to work yesterday -_-

took me 2 hours (normally a 30 minute drive) to get to work. i love snow, but anything that has to do with cars sucks in the winter.

THIS FUCKING DOES MY HEAD IN.

The snow is beautiful and everything but when travelling in it, it's a fucking nuisance.

I can handle winter and snow well. And most of the time I can somewhat handle the cr*ptastic public transport of Copenhagen. But put the two together, and that's a very simple recipe for driving me mad!

I got home 45 minutes later than normal from work today, all because of the winter and snow and public transport! Add working 10h shifts Tuesday and yesterday and 9.5h today and going to do another 9.5h tomorrow. And normally it takes me an hour one way to work.
Normally, I work 37h per week, but now work is extremely busy so after working over tomorrow, I'll have worked as many hours as if I had 6 day work weeks :O

The last thing I need now is the winter/snow and public transport combination!

I need weekend now!

Early ? Wow :-)

In my country we used to have snow from the end of October, till the beginning of March. During the last years the situation has changed drastically and there is almost no snow :-(

I LOVE snow and finally it's falling today :-)

i always make sure that ive got plenty of electric on my meter and food in the cupboards now because i got caught out by the weather back in february and was stuck indoors for nearly 2 weeks due to snow and ice and i wasnt falling [literally] for that again.
you've heard of "the back of beyond"? i live just beyond there.this village gets cut off when it snows...

I've got loads of food in.

But fortunately i've got loads of drink in too.So i'm happy lol.Gas bills and electricity bills paid too.

Just as well cos we're gonna get battered heavily next week with more bad weather apparently
