Indeed it is. Much more emotional and sincere than NOBY, at least to me.  But, hey, I do like NOBY too !

I can't say I like it, really.
I'm sure it's very honest and written from the heart but I always cringe when Roger sings the "... and shake a leg" line.
We get it Rog, it's about Freddie.

I like NOBY much more.

No one but you is a great song

Didnt Brian do a kind of tribute song to freddie in his solo stuff?

I don't think so. Perhaps "Nothin' but blue"?? I don't know if the liner notes or Brian interviews say who is this song about.

When I first listened to it, I thought "Just one life" was about Freddie but it is indeed about a different person. I guess I wasn't paying attention, since that song's first lines are "I did not know you, our lives never touched". :P

Both of those songs are good tributes

I think the thing about NBB is that Brian wrote (at least part of) the lyrics the night before Freddie passed away. So yeah, maybe it was, deliberately or subconsciously, at least partly about him... 'I can't stop wondering just how things might have been' sort of makes sense considering the disease and all, but it also could be about Brian's marriage, or about scores of different things.
John hated Hot Space. Frederick's favourite singer was not Paul Rodgers. Roger didn't compose 'Innuendo.' 'Bohemian Rhapsody' hasn't got 180 vocal overdubs.

Brian said in an interview that Nothin but blue was about freddie, It's pretty obvious.

Would you point such interview out?

I'm not being an arse, I'm honestly asking as it's interesting to read that.
