Surely, Universal would have to release Greatest Hits I & II (why not III as well) anyway now that they are Queen's record company?  Yes, we've got the rights to Queen's back catalogue but because we've no interest in making money, we're not going to release 2 albums that have sold by the truckload - that really makes sound economic sense.  I think that the real downer was the release of Absolute Greatest last year by EMI - that really was scraping the bottom of the barrel.

You don't HAVE TO buy GH I&II again you know. I, like every other Queen fan, is just praying we get something interesting and new released (a few live shows, demoes, unreleased tracks etc) as well as the already released albums...

The question is not topic. What for concert the 70`s you would like to see on DVD?
Is the concert in Hyde Park, one of the main contenders for the official release?

I think they are pretty right this time. They said it´s just the begining of the new plans to the band, and if I was Universal I would start exactly like this. You know, reissue GH albums before the first ones is the perfect way to create new hardcore fans to the band.
The casual listener who buy and like the GH probaly will buy the new  "old" album releases, if they do it with properly advertisement this time.
You see I will not buy the GH again, but if they re-release the studio albums with good extras, and it seems is possible this time, they can lauch as many compilations as they want. If they try to please the hardcores and casuals ones, it´s good for evebody, and will keep the band alive.

So, no mention of GH3. Not surprising, though. It's not as successful as the others.

Perhaps Universal's Greatest Hits will be different, that is, different artwork, tracklisting, etc. Like when Hollywood Records released the pink Greatest Hits and Classic Queen.

Now, releasing the exact same product with a different label. That would be lazy.

While I can't help but laugh at what is known as "Pigeon English", I'm also aware that the "English" written by people on this forum whose first language is NOT English, is a damn site better than any attempt i could make to write in their language!
A little patience, understanding and compassion goes a long way (except with Greg Brooks of course!)

They must be kidding. This cannot be real. They make laugh of real fans!!

Calm down, people. Are you really THAT surprised? As QUEEN's new label, Island Records' first logic step would be to release their most well known hit compilations ASAP - that is on Januray 1st 2011.

No the Guy is just pasting everything into the Google translator, the situation would be different if he was trying, would u post in a forum using a Google translator?

He has no clue of the basics of the English language, so helping him will never improve anything, he will still be misunderstanding and we will still have to decipher the same 2 questions posted in every thread.

If he was like the many other none English posters, who can read and write a little English and will improve if given time and helped it would be different. PauloPanucci is a great example of this, he came here only knowing the basics.
