:D I know! I mean, many people don't like it, which is one of the reasons I love it. That is, I have a thing for singing which isn't classically attractive. Alanis Morissette, Betty Davis, Meg White, Axl Rose, Brian on KYA etc...
I don't simply like someone because they're classically unattractive (if they're a bad singer, I won't like them), and I love plenty of classically attractive singers (my all-time favourite singer is Freddie, with Otis Redding another of my absolute favourite singers), but I do appreciate certain singers who won't be winning any vocal beauty contests.

One thing we do like about Gregory Finsley is the amount of Testosterone he seems to bring to the performance and the fact that he actually plays piano

I've only recently seen Finsley here in woodland hills. I was truly surprised at how well he mimics the vocalization of live Freddie (this time without any hoarseness)
His prancing and act kinda do make me feel mmm like the whole thing is comical IN SPITE of the power and ridiculously great control he has of his FM voice
Yeah the guitarist takes liberties with his sound and looks ridiculous ... and the band uses sample group vocals when live to accommodate the large choral effects. .... but they're pretty damn good.
Only thing missing was the deafening loudness I've heard people speak of. Otherwise. ... close my ears and it's kinda like QUEEN- THE VEGAS years.
His fm is kinda parody though with the ridiculous 70/80's hybrid Freddie look. 70's hat. 80's stache
Also detracting is the fact that its not just a foursome PULLING it off.
That and an adherence to some songs mimicking the studio tracks rather than the life experience.
I enjoyed them but couldn't bring myself to sing along. Its a farce.
Yet I understand why ppl live tribute bands
Glad I've seen them

Greg is INCREDIBLE :D saw them locally last summer
and although every tribute act that played was fantastic i think Queen Nation took the cake (judging by audience reaction its most certain)
he's got the voice/stylings nailed ~ the whole band very solid, superb musicians :)
i think that like Freddy, Gregory is one of the best vocalists ive ever heard...
(and i say this as a vocalist/sometimes hack-job freddie imitation wannabe. try as i might i cant come close to mimicking freddies voice. i think Greg does that uncannily well. and out of the very few Queen tributes out there, IMHO Queen Nation has a very earth contagious groove/approach :)
