Okay guys, seriously now, is there or is there not a bootleg of a concert in Wembley in 1990? I'm very confused right now hahaha

I've been a loyal majestic Queen fan for 6 years. I quite found this thread amusing. It has similar nuances to a little fictional ditty I found on another Queen site. It was very detailed, and very colorful. It would have been quite cosmic to see Queen perform again. If Freddie wasn't in such critical condition around this period, he might have done some sort of concert if not an entire scheduled world tour.

Might I just add to this little vignette. The name of the person who began this thread, does in fact have the acronym "joker" in it. So that should clear up any interiour puzzlement between some newbies. Although I may be a newbie, it only a champion who couldn't get into his old account. Just to repent myself from any messanger shootings if you will.

It's just a username I've had for the past 8 years. Doesn't mean I can't be serious. But you do speak some truth in there!

Who has Royal Albert Hall December,14,1969 on bootleg?
The setlist is:

4.Hangover
5.Bipolar Bear
6.Keep Yourself Alive (featuring Eric Clapton on guitar)
7.Jesus (featuring the Jackson 5)
8.Guitar Solo (featuring Chuck Berry,Eric Clapton and Bob Dylan, who fainted)
9.Big Spender (featuring Chuck Berry on vocals)
10.Jailhouse Rock (featuring Chuck Berry on vocals)
11.The Cowboy Song
12.Bognor Ballad
13.Bring Back That Leroy Brown
14.Veiny Feller's Master Stroke
15.Nevermore.
16.March Of The Black Queer
17.Odour Battle
18.Seven Seas Of Rhyme
19.The Profit Song (featuring Eric Clapton on guitar)
20.Stone Cold Undies
ENCORE:
19.Stairway To Heaven
20.Purple Haze
21.Baba O Riley
22.God Save The Queen (with a guest appearance of Queen Elizabeth II)
Featuring Tim Staffell and not John Deacon. Brian also broke a string in the Guitar Solo so Chuck Berry had to take over for the rest of the performance until the encore.
After the guitar solo, 39 would of been played, which was designed for Dylan, but due to his injury, this song was unable to be played.
Dylan's fatal injury was due to a breakdown from the fans reactions after the guitar solo, who screamed and threw tomatoes at him.
Bognor Ballad featured some extremely orgasmic backing vocals from Staffell.
This is overall the greatest show in their career, with Freddie Mercury singing in falsetto throughout.
I also heard they were going to be at Woodstock but they were scheduled for after Hendrix and Brian was too scared

Has anyone got any of the 1996 one off comeback show recorded? I remember the bit after Action This Day where Freddie bent over, held his nose and fired a Brussels sprout out of his arse at one of the audience members. The outrage that caused. People thought you could catch sexually transmitted diseases by touching food back in those days. The backlash over that was totally over the top. I liked how Freddie dealt with it: "It's only a bloody sprout, people get so excited about these things."

I can't believe so man you you have lsited the setlist from the 1990 gig and missed out that they did 'The Fallen Priest', but with Russell Watson and Charlotte Church singing it, as Freddie didn't feel he could do justice to it live, and then Montserrat pulled out as she wouldn't do it without Freddie. You must remember, it was right after John's 10 minunte bass solo which replaced Brian's usual guitar solo as he broke all six strings on the Red Special.
Oh, and Phill Collins played drums on half the set because...well, because it was 1990 and that's was 'his thing' then with other bands.

Was it in that concert where Freddie said "we'll all be a bunch of fags until we fuckin' well die, I'm sure of it... well, maybe not John Deacon"?

I've heard that he also nailed all the Bb4s in proper studio phrasing + he did the C5

How come no one has mentioned Brians 8 minute ukulele solo in the middle of Bring Back That Leroy Brown. I seem to recall he did a little bit of Invisible Man and She Makes Me in there as well as his incredible and always welcome 'Hickory Dickory Dock' arpeggios.

That was memorable, even more so when John tried to sing "Silver Salmon" during his solo. Unfortunately, he couldn't remember the lyrics and went on to a vocal improvisation sounding a bit like GDML, which caused the crowd to throw him dead salmons (everybody carried these at Queen concerts in those days, in hope that they would play the song). Nice try, though!
