Maybe too much tipple - but I see a lot of negative things written here. what are we the fans after. From my perspective:-

as much DVD and visual product as possible - there are too many concerts inc hammersmith, earls courrt houston  etc. I am positive that the exibition in Feb 11 will make the band see the commercial value of the older gigs - even a full release of Rio would be good..

Outakes - need to be selective here. Freddie box set nailed it for me in terms of instrumentals , accapella etc. in addition to 5.1 mixes that would be enough, unreleased songs not good enough originially should be respected and left off. an acapella version on take my breath away would be stunning though.

Much is talked upon on this forum, but most is unobtainable or beyond economic sense. but from the greatest live and studio band of their time there is a gap in the market . Universal have a year or so on the live stuff, the studio stuff is already sorted - what do we need as fans?

Any concert pre-1982. Except montreal, so that is no Montreal. Did I mention we don't need another Montreal?

aye! outtakes definatly,
and some books? with really really rare pics in! and some cool stories about the old days, and of cource with some pics and vids of the crazy partys! see Queen off stage and in their other lives.

P.S whatd really make we Queen fans happy would be for HMV to sell Queen posters and CD's (not Queen = paul rodgers) and music videos/conecrts, anyone been to the HMV in Telford? it's shocking, i get blinded by justin bieber, JLS and lady gaga, have to look at the floor till i get the the rock bit

We need them to release at least 1 concert from the 70's (if not any concert at all). That is what would sell + make fans happy. The best thing would probably be to find the missing footage from Hammersmith 1979, remaster it like they did already with some songs from that gig, and include it in a double disc set of Hammersmith 1975 and Hammersmith 1979. This would sell like crazy + make fans happy. Why can't it get to queen productions' heads that no one wants anymore box sets, greatest hits albums, or remastering of all their studio albums. We all know that Queen was an amazing studio band, but something even more important that most people don't know about are that they were an even better live band...but how could anyone on the street know that if none of their best concerts aren't released?

I sure hope we see some of this stuff in 2011

I want surprises...things I have no idea about that they exist. That would make me happy.

To be honest, at this time anything from the archive that’s new would please fans, even sorting out the Doro footage and releasing what they have of knebworth on DVD packaged with a CD of the concert.

I only would add the show at the marquee club in 1972 to your list.
