But seriously, this is better than all the later April shows!
Why do you consider this to be the worst version of Spread your wings?? I find it beautiful, with lots of great reinterpretations by Freddie. The emotion of the song is totally there, musically and vocally. I really like it. ========
Because Freddie note drops all over the place (hitting a note, then going flat), plus he speak sings throughout the song!

As far as I know bootlegging is legal in Japan.. which is why most of today's bootlegs are produced there. They even have bootleg stores in Tokyo. There are pictures of Jimmy Page in one of them about 10 years ago, buying back the recordings that were stolen from him in the 80s.

"Howcome Now I'm here sounds so much worse compared to other songs?"
It's hard to tell. It could be some digital alteration, but note that there's a tape flip after the song, and the problem clears up after that. So to me it sounds like something went wrong with the taper's gear.

100$ and more. Oh dear. I remember the italian bootlegs I bought at the flee market for 20 or sometimes 15 deutsch marks. But indeed they were not that great. Wrong dates and incomplete shows. The japanes releases have great artwork and the right information in most cases. But the prices are not the way i go with.

I wouldn't call it "legal", the point is that most asian countries do not know or accept the copyright rules of the "western World". Also the thinking is different, copying someones music is seen there as a compliment - not as theft.
In Europe there were some loopholes in the copyright law in the late 80s/early 90s what lead to "bootlegs" being officially sold in regular shops. But this was soon "corrected"....

Very interesting. It used to be like that in the US through the 60s... it was very common in the blues genre. But soon copyright laws and lawyers changed that, and even bluesmen cashed in on it, like when Willie Dixon sued Zeppelin for Whole Lotta Love.
