Lineage: 3-source merge "Royalties at the Hippodrome" FLAC > WAV 32-bit > Adobe Audition 3.0 (with slightly modified SQ-script originally from http://www.quadraphonicquad.com/) > WAV 16-bit > FLAC level 8
This is a quadraphonic version of this concert, SQ decoded using Pittrek's 3-source merge called "Royalties at the Hippodrome". The files in this share is divided into two folders; "front" and "rear". In the folder called "front" you'll find 14 stereo flac files which contains the front channels, and in the folder called "rear", the files are stereo flac files containing the rear channels. Convert this to your preferred surround format. I hope you'll enjoy this share, and all thanks to the persons involved in making the original files available, including pittrek.

Sorry, but it seems to me that this is not properly decoded surround. To be honest, I haven't had much time to go into detail while hearing your share, but It shouldn't sound like this at all! (believe me, I have owned an ol' quad system for most of my youth).
Maybe the decoding matrix is not right or the SQ-encoded information was damaged during the remastering process by Stark (I got the name right this time, Pittrek!) - or not even present in the source he worked on. Definetely, something is wrong with that one. Please, check the rear channels of Father To Son at 3:24, when the edit in the traditional source begins, and you will hear a quite an abrupt sound field change.

If that's the case, then maybe someone could start with this version - http://www.queenzone.com/forums/1241543/1973-09-13-london-golders-green-hippodrome-pop-spectacular-flac.aspx

First of all many thanks to everybody involved in this project! Hopefully somebody, sometimes will share a proper version of this concert.
By the way: Has somebody listened to the "Hernansnow" vocal reconstruction? Two songs (Ogre Battle & Son And Daughter snippet) can be downloaded in mp3 format from is site (links below)
I won't say that this sounds great, and to be honest I don't like the sound, but at least he has brought the vocal much more in front....

No offence, but I don't even want to listen to anything Hernan Snow does. All he does is leak out lossy copies of his work and adds a pretty cover. Until he actually converses with the community to do things for the greater good, I refuse to take him seriously.

Wow, Freddie is VERY loud on that version of Ogre Battle!! As is John. And Brian is very quiet! I suggest a matrix using both versions :)

I would love to hear a final result but: "Convert this to your preferred surround format." stops me. Could you please help me?
