It has been clearly stated that this is not the final track listing.

I'm excited to see what will be included as extras.  Only weeks ago, people on here were complaining that the releases were not slated to include a bonus cd.  Now it clear that they are considering a bonus cd for inclusion with the first 5 albums, and people are still unhapppy.

Let's try a positive thread for once.  To increase the likelihood of their being releases of meaterial you want, we should be sharing what we've enjoyed about past releases.

eg: Live at Wembley DVD.  I'm still playing this DVD like it was released only this week.  A fantastic show and it's great to have the whole gig.  I also enjoyed the edited releases from this tour (Live Magic/Budapest) too, but Live at Wembley is what I refer to as my screensaver DVD :)

cheers
I'm a long time queen fan from back in the late 70's. Favourite albums are Queen II and Blue Rock. Cheers to everyone from Melbourne, Aus.

Just a warning about SHMCD. As an audiophile I have a few. Ther mastering is the most important part. Chances are that new remasters will just be louder. If you are looking to upgrade the sound quality, simply buying a super high material CD is not as important as how it's remastered. In ths case, look for early Japanese non-remastered pressings. They have strange things like bass left  in it like it's supposed to. If anyone cares, google and your tube "loudness war". Basically, don't throw away your old cds

The Dude, have you listened to the new Greatest Hits?
I'd be interested to hear your thoughts.

I hold grave fears that they will be super loud and butchered.

Pim Derks wrote: qrock wrote: If there is Commentary of the tracks by Roger and Brian, I would buy it but the rest is just an utter waste of time. It could be worse, Queen productions could have provided us with just fuzzy noises.
Save yourself the money, I can tell you exactly what 90% of the audio commentary for the tracks will be:

Roger Taylor:

Aaah yes, The March Of The Black Queen... One of Freddie's I believe. One of the longest tracks we ever did I think. Can't remember much about it, just being bored hahaha.

Brian May:

This is actually a bit of a pre-cursor to BoRhap, which was on the album that came after this one. Quite a interesting track, which was written in response to an old track of mine called White Queen because of the black/white theme we had on this album. There is actually an even longer version in our archives which has NEVER been heard.
Spot on!
It´s better to burn out than to fade away.

FFS - All we need are box sets as Genesis have done. All songs correctly in one place, not a live one here and then the same gig, different song on another disc ! Don't these people ever listen to the fans / customers ??? Or,as we all suspect, another (not so) crafty way to get us to part with as much money as possible.I'll be dead by the time we get what we want !!!
BTW - anyone got a copy of Freddie Mercury The Very Best Of Solo to make up the Italian Queen & Freddie Mercury The Definitive Collection Box Set ???

What a big, fat disappointment. Hardly anything we haven't heard before. Why am I surprised? I just thought that maybe, just maybe this time they'd do us proud.
As if.
