Highlander was shown in the UK the other day on ITV and the picture quality appeared to be better than the DVD I have. What's everyone's opinion on the best DVD available (sound and picture) out there for the UK market?

I've currently got the Studio Canal DVD:

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Highlander-DVD-Sean-Connery/dp/B000056QAG/ref=sr_1_8?ie=UTF8&qid=1295722420&sr=8-8

But there's also this version:

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Highlander-DVD-Sean-Connery/dp/B000HEVTCC/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1295722420&sr=8-1

And the Immortal Version:

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Highlander-Immortal-Limited-Steel-Special/dp/B000HEVTG8/ref=sr_1_11?ie=UTF8&qid=1295722420&sr=8-11

which I think is different to the US version in that it doesn't contain the Queen bonus tracks (which is a shame)

Thanks!

I don't think they ever did a proper remastering job on that movie. Which is a pity, because it is visually stunning, but it's hard to appreciate that with bad picture quality.

Try the UK Bluray!

It is indeed a shame that no decent has been done. So is there no marked improvement between the version I have and the Immortal Edition? Is it possible that ITV were showing the Blu Ray version?
