Mojo mag which had a freddie feature late last year was the 1st time i had bought that one

Actually its not. Q has been doing this for as long as I can remember, and I think most monthly mags are the same. Just like the March issue of Guitarist came out last Thursday. Certainly is strange though.

Not strange at all. Adding an extra month makes the shelf-life of the issues much longer. If they had put "February 2010" on it, the magazine could be in the shelves for a max of 5 weeks. Making it "March 2010" gives it almost double that - i.e. giving the shops a bigger chance to sell it.
