1) Keep Yourself Alive (1975 long lost re-take) - great remaster, great version 2) You're My Best Friend (2011 Backing Track) - very good mix, but it's been better without backing vocals at all. We already have them it in Karaoke Hits. Bells-like sounding instrument is very prominent in the mix, like never before. 3) I'm In Love With My Car (Guitar & Vocal 2011) - Not bad at all, reminds me a version from Shove It Tour by The Cross. 4) Bohemian Rhapsody (2011 A Cappella) - very good, but not so exciting now, as we already have 5.1 and multitracks for this track. 5) '39 (Earls Court 7th July 1977) - stunning quality mix, and great performance. Let's hope QPL finaly to release CD+DVD package compiled from both nights in the future.
One more to go...

Thanks for confirming that CMI.
I'll hold my tongue on what I was going to say to those involved in this compilation.

I would almost swear that Roger redid the drum part of See What A Fool I've Been, the 2011 remix. It sounds like his current drumkit.

Considering how many times ANATO has been released in one format or another, it's a pity they didn't make an even bigger effort to include some worthy bonus material instead of shitty live crap. I simply cannot get excited about individual live tracks, especially when they are from concert videos we already have. Really, if I'm going to listen to ANATO, I'm not going to listen in stereo when I've got the 2002 DTS Entertainment surround release, which is far superior to the crap 30th Anniversary verison where it sounds like they just did a vocal cut and surround swap option on the rear speakers for the most part. Cheapness. That's what it is these days with Queen. The most gain for the least effort.

Bingo.
Anyone notice that some of the lead vocal is different from the actual session recorded on 7-25-73? For instance, the "I caught a train" at 0:33 is different.. so here we have a composite of at least 2 vocal takes. Any ideas of where it may be from? Maybe just a different take from that day?

Do you have the rumoured "Original Quad Mix" of ANATO rather than the standard DTS release? The 30th anniversary dvd contains the same mixes!
