I have never heard about Brian doing this song.

All I can think of in my hazy memory of this track that it was on a cover cd for a guitar magazine - possibly "Total Guitar" (UK) around 1993/4!?! I wish I'd nicked the cd off my guitar playing mate now! All I can remember was Brian introducing the track saying words to the effect of "I'm abroad (somewhere he named) and this is for all of you at home in the cold."
Can you remember Brian saying that he had to be flown out of somewhere because a hurricane was headed his way? I think it was that year?
It was a GREAT version typical trademark multi-layering of guitars - would love to hear it again.
