Well... no. It's a proper noun, so it can be whatever he wants it to be i.e. brians wig, BrIAns wiG, b_r_Ians_wI_g etc. That's why bell hooks gets away with not capitalising her name and how I once ate in a place called the Nite-Bite, even though night is of course the "proper" spelling.

John Deacon was The Beatles, any Motown and R&B (especially Stevie Wonder) and The Police
Freddie was Liza Minelli, opera, The Beatles, Jackson 5, every music genre
These I do know musically the Queen guys were inspired by and also Brian and Roger are G 'n R fans, Foo Fighters fans
