strange request perhaps, but anyways

time permitting, I'm planning on converting some of my old vhs bootlegs to dvd. problem is; I haven't got a clue how to do it :)
has anyone here done it before? somebody must, as all Queen and most QPR video boots are vhs sourced.

a step by step would be appreciated :)

What kind of "hardware" do you own / plan to buy for it ? I can give you tips for transfers which will BE cheap, but also LOOK cheap :-)

hm...didn't realize it would be a great difference

I have a regular laptop and my old vhs player - that's it so far :) so I take it the easycap device I've been looking at is no good?

what are the alternatives?

sure you can buy, a dvd/video player.
and as you play either the dvd or video you can record to the other.
