Real or Fake?

I thought this might be fun and entertaining for this board, so here goes.....

I acquired this signed copy of "A Night at the Opera" in 2005, from an on-line auction.

Before I acquired it, I asked Jacky Smith of the Queen Fan Club for her opinion about the autographs. Her response was that she believed it to be genuine, signed around the time that the album was made. I acquired the item for a reasonable price, and felt confident it was authentic until I found out recently that the on-line auction site I acquired it from had a questionable reputation.

Fortunately, I happen to live near PSA/DNA authentication services here in sunny Southern California. They told me that they have a drop-off day, where locals can bring their collectibles by for verification without having to pay the shipping costs.

I plan on dropping the album off on 3/25/11 to have it professionally authenticated or discredited.

The purpose of this is not to bash Jacky in any way, since everyone can be fooled. Rather, I thought it would be interesting to hear your opinions on it before I got the "final word," so to speak.

Knowing that Kurgan is going to come and bash me for sticking my nose in,  I'm inclined to say fake.  Sorry.

No need to say sorry, I fortunately didn't pay all that much for it. I only wish Jacky didn't say she felt it was genuine, then I wouldn't have to pony up $100 to find out for sure!
