This is kind of a stupid question but are the reissues of the first 5 albums being released in the US or only the UK?

May???? Why May???? Why would they only release the first 5 albums in 1 country on March 12th? And will the US be getting the videos too?

You Americans are getting nothing.  We are keeping it all to ourselves, mwuhahahahahahahaha (faux evil laugh).

Just because many stupid Americans hated Queen in the 1980's, doesn't mean we deserve to get nothing that the UK gets.

Are there any legal reason why you can't order it from some European eShop ?

Depressing to see that record companies still haven't learnt that staggering release dates internationally just annoys their customers. It's not as if they don't have an alternative to waiting.

Damn inbred hicks and their Bibles were responsible for Queen's downfall. I do know Queen were still popular in Boston, New York, Philly, Los Angeles, Chicago and Detroit during the 1980s but the damn "BIBLE BELT" had to pitch a bellyaching fit about Queen experimenting with different musical tastes. If they wanted straight ahead rock, stick with AC/DC (I forgot they love AC/DC in the South and the poodle rockers Def Leppard and Bon Jovi)

Turns out they will be released in the US. I may consider re-buying the albums if the sound quality is great. Hollywood Records here in the US relies on Queen to keep the label afloat as their current cash cows The Jonas Brothers and Miley Cyrus have fallen out of favor. Queen saved the label with Innuendo and the back catalog reissues.

As far as Hollywood Records releases went here in the US, the first eight studio albums which were issued in The Crown Jewels box set from 1998 (to commemorate the 25th Anniversary of the release of the first Queen album) were a step up from the1991 remasters. The Platinum Collection in the US used the 2001 Japanese remasters and sounded better than the UK versions.
