I've been dropping hints of my top 50 Queen songs around on various posts, and for an extra teaser for that I think I'll come up with a list of Freddie's best songs from his solo bulk. DISCLAIMER - if you're going to contribute to this thread, make sure you have The Solo Collection first, because I will be including some rare gems here. No remixes included!
#1 - Living on My Own #2 - Barcelona #3 - Made in Heaven (Freddie's 1985 release on Mr. Bad Guy of course, not the '95 Queen remake...) #4 - Goin' Back #5 - The Great Pretender #6 - Let's Turn It On #7 - How Can I Go On? #8 - In My Defence #9 - I Can Hear Music #10 - I Was Born To Love You (1985 release, see 3) #11 - Green #12 - Man Made Paradise #13 - Time #14 - Your Kind of Lover #15 - Love Kills

1) Barcelona (the album)
I like it more than any Queen album.
And then in no particular order Time, In my defence, The great pretender, Mr Bad Guy, and many others which I don't like but are incredible vocal performances.

"Ogre-" - When it comes to Love Kills, I love the originial Richard Wolf version (note, I'm not refering to the remix which floods with instruments as soon as Freddie sings the title phrase), but when it comes to the single mixes, my opinion fluctuates.
For anyone who wants to know, my list mostly came from a 2-disc compilation I made myself called 'Silver Solo' which I released on April 29th, 2010 to mark the 25th or silver anniversary of Mr. Bad Guy. Here's the tracklist. Freddie enthuasists might appreciate it. Others, well... read the list.
Disc 1 - Singles and Some Rareties
1. Living on My Own (Originial 1985 Single) 2. The Great Pretender 3. Barcelona 4. Made in Heaven 5. Love Kills (Originial Richard Wolf Version) 6. Let's Turn It On 7. How Can I Go On? 8. I Was Born to Love You 9. State of Shock 10. Green 11. Mr. Bad Guy 12. I Can Hear Music 13. Goin' Back 14. Have A Nice Day 15. In My Defence (Originial Single Cut)
Disc 2 - Remixes and More Rareties

Living on My Own (Julian Raymond Remix) - this is the mix that appears on GH3, despite what the sleeve notes say 7. Keep Smilin' 8. Mr. Bad Guy (Brian Malouf Remix) 9. Love Kills (Rock Mix) 10. God is Heavy 11. Foolin' Around (Steve Brown Remix) 12. Gazelle 13. Hold On 14. Living on My Own (Extended 1985 12-inch Version) 15. It's So You

I think Barcelona wins by far. I like some of the others but they're not worth putting into order.

I could never get any of the solo stuff untill the '90s in America, but I did hear the track BARCELONA after it first came out.
My fave solo Freddie tracks are: BARCELONA THE GREAT PRETENDER THE FALLEN PRIEST LIVING ON MY OWN
Q fan since I was 4 or 5. Listened to my brother's vinyl albums in the '70s.
