i use to be simply obsessed with it from the age of 9 onwards, my favourite doctor changes a lot just like my favourite member of Queen dose, at the moment my favourite doctor is Patrick Troughton, im not sure who my favourite companion is, i love Jamie the Scottish lad, Tom Baker use to be me favourite doctor, and Leela was my favorite companion, she still is in a way, i dont know havent watched it in a long time,

so i have a question for all the Doctor Who fans here,
1. who is your favourite doctor?
2. who is your favourite companion?
3. what is your favourite episode?
4. when did you start watching it?
5. what was the first episode you watched?

for me
1. Patrick Troughton and Tom Baker
2. Jamie and Leela
3. the hand of fear
4. when it came back in 2005
5. the first one in 2005, they first old one i watched i think was city of death, (staring Tom Baker and Lalla Ward)

Best doctor? There is no discussion: Tom Baker wins hands down. Christopher Ecclestone is probably 2nd. Worst Dr Who? That one in the cricket jumper. Best enemy: The Sea Devils. Best theme tune? The one that goes ooo-wee, ooo-wee, ooo-wee at the end. Best assistant: definitely Lela. Because of her miniskirt. Best robotic dog sidekick? Tough one: I'd go for K-9.

1. David Tennant is my Doctor, with Christopher Eccleston and Matt Smith as close seconds.
2. Donna with Rose as a close second
3. Journey's End
4. 2008?
5. One with Tom Baker, I think, but it was on a black and white TV, and I wasn't into it.

1. Troughton, followed by Mgann and McCoy
2.
3. I don't have a television one but the big finish audio "doctor who and the pirates" is hilarious
4. 89 just before it got cancelled
5. ghost light probably

Hands down, one of the best, well written, kids TV shows and the only family entertainment left on TV.
(Also people in the US are normally suprised it's a kids show, but it is.)

this is where everyone inintentionally gives their age away by picking the Doctor from their childhood..
anyway,Tom Baker and Leela and K9 warms the cockles of this old heart and Daleks are and always will be "the villain".Worst Doctor has to be this new one,all he does is look a twat and run everywhere to very loud background music.
Benedict Cumberlandsausage should be the next Doctor..

Don't forget Colin baker was terrible, are you sure you don't want to reconsider?

Edward tudor Pole would make a fantastic doctor

oh god colin baker was definatly the worst! i use to love him when i was a kid some how. i look back and i think to myself "what the fuck were you smoking?" now i believe in dressing bohemian, but i think stealing Joseph's magical tecknicolourd dream coat (im not religious so messed that up i know) and having huge curly blond hair and walking around with a retardedly confused facial expression is just annoying, if he walked past me in the street id piss myself and so would everyone else

The thing is Colin Baker is a really nice guy, I met him by chance a year or too ago in a hotel and he took the time to stand and talk about doctor who. There was absolutely no egotistical nonsense like some people *cough** the other baker ***cough**

Such a shame his doctor was terrible, badly written badly acted and badly dressed.

....... He was an okay guy, but wouldn't shut up, all he did was tell me his plans for world domination.

Thought I finish it for you.
