I guess that means they must've sold like 10 of them each?

I guess they would have achived higher positions if they would not have released all 5 remasters in the same week...

What must be remembered is that theese aren't 'new' releases, or new product (excluding the bonus stuff which won't appeal to the general public) - it is really just replacing old stock on the shelves so that it has a Universal, rather than EMI label.  There has been no TV campaign to advertise them (hell, I even saw a TV ad promoting the Cosmos Rocks when it came out!).

I'm sure that if the day comes that Queen release a NEW album (either Bri and Rog with brand new stuff, or reworkings of old Freddie vocals like MIH) we'll see a big advertisign campaign and a top 10 chart position on release.

Personally I'm surprised any Queen material is charting in today's musical world. So I'm overjoyed that four of the reissues have even scraped into the top 100.

Are you kidding?

Absolute Greatest has already gone 2 x platinum, and that's just a bunch of tracks that everybody has heard a million times.

Pingfah - I see your point, but Absolute Greatest should have really been named Absolute Overhype because everybody's heard those songs a million times (namely Don't Stop Me Now and to a lesser extent Rock You and Champions). My mind is all for the 'stop the greatest hits reissues and start scurrying into the vaults' approach, thank you very much. AG is the NINTH hits collection for anybody who bothers to count them. Be honest, who cares about the GH reissues? [Dull silence] That's what I thought.
