______________

It's just a few days out now ... does anyone have any additional information?  What time it starts Friday and what time it finishes Sunday?  I've not received any info yet since registering and the website looks mostly the same.

By the way I'm wondering if Innuendo performs "Death on Two Legs"?  What song are you looking forward to playing the most?  Anyhow, whether you play DO2L or not looking forward to hearing Innuendo.  It must be an incredible feeling to be able to play a musical instrument and play songs from Queen's catalog.  Good luck, I'm sure the crowd will be psyched.

And for our Irish friends (above) who can't be there - a Guinness will be raised.

There must be!  Angeline is irish, but doesn't live here, and I haven't seen her post in ages.

No, we won't be playing DOTL. If I told you what I look most forward to playing, that'd be giving the setlist away my dear ;-) Just wait and see :-) Cheers!

So I just wanted to write and say that I am just having an absolute BLAST at Breakthru here in Atlanta!
Always nice to see Peter Freestone, and also equally nice to meet and chat with Gary Taylor and Jacky Smith. Gary is definitely one you can have long conversations with easily!
Also met up with our fellow Queenzoners Erin, Pieter, Iron Eagle (who so very kindly lent me his Red Special for the concert tomorrow when mine developed a couple serious problems on the way here! Extremely grateful towards Iron for that :-) plus Gregsynth and Jamster1111

Looking forward towards playing our live show tomorrow night, or at least amuse people trying to do so! ;-)

Thanks for posting the complete set list. I was there and it was quite a set, put forth with alot of
style (stage effects) and heart to it. One of the best moments, among many, was Teo Torriate - a tribute
presented especially in light of the troubles Japan has been through this year - and the whole crowd sung
along and joined in tribute.  People were on their feet during the entire set and encores of course. It did
rock, let me tell you!  And the pressure WAS on .... Innuendo found themselves with the crucial task of
reproducing live as much Queen music as possible in just one night as the other band slated originally for
Saturday night's Breakthru dinner event cancelled.

Despite being there I missed the DOTL that was posted in the set list above!  How?  I honestly don't know.

Well........how was the attendance?  Atmosphere?  How were some of the crazy outfits, trivia, bad karaoke, etc..........

I know a group went and suffered through the heat at the Braves-Nationals game Sunday afternoon.

===============

The atmosphere was intensely QUEEN.   It was well attended but not overun.  A couple of things I really
enjoyed:

A "bloopers" type reel of out-takes from Queen's videos - hilariously funny out-takes from Calling All Girls,
Play the Game, Radio Ga Ga (including Brian looking very motion sick while flying in the air-car),
CLTCL.   It would be great if this could be released.

I got to speak one on one with Gary Taylor about the Queen exhibition and learned why it will not
be coming to America.  He also answered some of my questions about items in the exhibition.  It
was a frank discussion of why things are the way they are with the releases and above all else I
appreciate his honesty.

I also got to speak with Peter Freestone privately and had my question answered. Something
only he (and a few others) could possibly know.  Thank you Peter for attending and for your
presentation on Montreaux.

You asked about trivia?
Quick - what is the number of "No's" in Bo Rap?  I said quick damm it!
What is the shortest track on Hot Space?   Quickly I said!
What did Brian say was his tribute to Elvis?  Well?
What song does Roger say he has a difficult time drumming?

I could go on ..... there were 25 of these.
