A really good point, and my apologies for not mentioning it in my post.  Credit where credit is due, and without  BootLuca we wouldn't be listening to this at all.  So, many thanks for the original.

Just a little comment here and I hope that it does not appear ungrateful to the above-mentioned who did such great work.

I have only listened to a couple of snippets, and so maybe I am being premature, but...

why, oh why, did Japanese audiences insist on clapping constantly through every song!! Don't think I have ever heard a Queen show recorded in Japan where the performance was not to some extent marred by this.

(And yes, I do know my Queen history well enough to know that the band enjoyed a very special relationship with their Japanese fans, Freddie in particular falling in love with Japan and Japanese culture).

Hey, no offence taken on my part.  I know what you mean, but I think it's kinda fun.  Obviously it'd be nice to hear the music instead, but seeing as we've got no choice, hey, whatchagonnado?  May as well make the most of it.

Having said that,  one benefit of the remaster is that the clapping doesn't sound quite so bad as it does on Tarantura's original.  It should now sound more natural, and so sit a little better in the mix.  At least that's the theory...

It's just one of those cultural things... the Japanese love to clap along at concerts..

What a shame Queen didn't  tour Japan in 77/78....Cant blame Mr Peach for that...
