Notes:
Freddie Mercury live pre-Queen. The skinny on the this recording is this according to http://www.queenconcerts.com/
"Recorded by Geoff Higgins (Ibex roadie) on his Grundig TK14 reel-to-reel machine, later sold in an auction to a private collector, then lent to Queen Production for the purpose of including 'Rain' in the FM Solo Collection box set, then leaked to the bootleg market. This concert was very important because Ibex were joined by Brian May and Roger Taylor for the encore which means it's the very first concert with Freddie, Brian and Roger on one stage. Sadly, the tape ran out after 30 minutes so it misses this encore."
A queen fan and collector who wishes to remain anonymous has asked to digitize and make available some of his tapes which contain more of these rarieties since this year would have marked Queen's 40th anniversary.
Please keep lossless files lossless, and if this torrent goes dormant please bump it and a nice QZer will bring it back to life :)
Good download and enjoy!! :)

Does it sound better than the previously circulating version? Yes, but don't forget they both come from the same original cassette, and unfortunately the vocals still lack volume. But they are clearer! In my opinion it's worth downloading as an improvement.
As far as I know there is no 24/96 version available yet, unless Weedwacker has decided to circulate one.
