has anyone ever came across a queen themed pub.
walked in and all you could see and hear was queen.
or even a queen themed hotel.
sort of along the lines of,hard rock cafe, but just queen.
If I find such a place, I'd become their Norm, ala Cheers.
"Freddie's Bar" - inside Ealing College, London
That would be nice Dave!
When you mention the Hard Rock Cafe it reminds me of a brilliant experience I had when i was in Dublin H.R.C. in 2007. My wife and i were in Ireland for our silver wedding and were in Dublin on a Saturday. We went to the H.R.C. for the obligatory burger which we were enjoying with a backdrop of various music vids and performances on a big screen and then lo and behold, up popped the boys at Live Aid with Radio Ga Ga. You could see the ripple of approval spread, as conversations were interrupted and burgers were poised motionless at mouth level and then up went the volume. Virtually the whole place gave Queen their undivided attention in appreciation of this magic moment. Song finished, volume back down, everyone returning to their food and conversations and the hairs on the back of my neck returning to their normal position.
It was a brilliant 4 minutes i'll never forget and just for that fleeting moment it was a 'Queen pub !'
