Japanese leg of Magic Tour?

Some years ago on here, I remember reading that Queen had planned to bring the Magic Tour to Japan. Does anyone else remember reading this or perhaps shed some light on it?

As far as I know, there were no plans for a Japanese leg, I think it was always just going to be a European tour.

I seem to remember Brian stating (during an interview in 1986) that they were considering extending the tour as they were 'firing on all fours'
Presumed he meant USA........

....as if!

Asia was certainly on the cards. They were supposed to perform in China but Wham! ruined that for them.

I'm quite sure Freddie's health also played a big role in this matter.
