Lady Gaga isn't the worst of the worst. She has some good tunes, nothing really great, mind you, but Brian has worked with people far worse than her, so I don't think it's a step back. It isn't a step forward either though.

Personal tastes notwithstanding, there absolutely is a real musician in there. In the Dance/Pop world she certainly is a cut above an awful lot of them. Many fellow musicians think a great deal of her, so if Brian does he wouldn't be alone. It's certainly a compliment to Brian & Queen as at this point in her career she could probably summon anybody.
With regard to the meat dresses and such, on the one hand we can see the self promotion with some degree of cynicism but on the other hand all that stuff really is performance art. At least she's doing something with her body other than stuffing breast implants in it.
She's been doing 'You and I' live for a while now - since last summer I think. Don't know what the arrangement on the album with be, but here it is if anybody is interested:

Roger and Brian aren't dead. They can work with anyone they want. If you don't like it, don't listen to the end product. I personally despise Lady GaGa, so I won't be listening.
No matter what Brian and Roger do they can't piss on the Queen legacy. What they did from Queen to Innuendo/Made in heaven is set in stone. No matter how bad they are or who they work with in their Golden years can't take that away. Who knows, maybe the song is very good, Brian was alway's great on ballads. The one thing no one could deny is Queen's Influence on all forms of Rock n roll. Lady Ga Ga, Foo fighter's, Muse. Metallica Show their wide range of Influence, Not every band could say that. I admit I cringe when someone say's Lady Ga Ga is a genius. The word "Genius" is so over used these days.

That's kinda awesome! :D but I don't really like lady GaGa, because of her, all the little girls who should still be dressing up as faries or princesses, or playing mums and dads, are becoming little sluts who wear skimpy little things, selling out their bodies like Barbie dolls, or even playing real life mums and dads! But on the other hand, it's great to see some good music/ians out there going in mainstream once again. This may be the only Lady GaGa album I own :P maybe now when I say "Brian May" to my friends, they won't say, "who the hell is that you old school Betty?" lol

Just listened to the single Gaga released yesterday (though it was apparently leaked late last week). 'Judas' five days before Easter. You can't accuse this woman of any sort of timidity. lol Christians of all stripes predictably flipping out everywhere.
