I've been dropping hints about this and now I've finally let the curtain open, even though some people might toss it aside. Now keep in mind it's my list. if you think some songs should be higher or lower I appreciate it. But if you're going to just ramble about how 'ohhh you left obivous great ones out' and 'this list is rubbish' I don't want to hear it. The list is biased on the singles heavily seeing as I started my Queen career with Platinum Collection, but eleven album tracks make the cut as well. Here with go (with ANATO and MiH being prosperous with six tracks from each)... my top 50 Queen songs!!!!

One thing I noticed about your list that I find VERY refreshing is the abundance of 80's and 90's songs on your list. So many fans discard all of the stuff they did after The Game and it's a shame.
I'm the first to say that 70's Queen is the best...but 80's and 90's Queen is fantastic too. It's like they were 2 different bands in style and approach.
HaHa...I guess my two favorite bands of all time would be ranked:
1)70's Queen 2)80's and 90's Queen 3) Led Zeppelin

but one comment: you say bo-rhap at no1 was "inevitable"...if that is so, why did you not include Freddies original 3-songs in one "bo rhap conception"? Fairy Fella/Nevermore/Black Queen

Quite simply, because those three songs didn't change the rules of pop music at the time - BoRhap did. And they were not nearly as accessible.
BoRhap is not only Queen's greatest song, but also one of the most groundbreaking and influential pieces of music of the last 100 years.

I really like Paulosham's list, only I would switch 'All Dead, All Dead' for 'the Fairy Feller's Master Stroke' and Headlong for 'The Show Must Go On' or 'All Gods People' ..(way to go Paulosham!)

This will be tricky! I find that my favorite songs are not generally the ones I listen to the most. Something like Coming Soon would end up as number one, purely because I listen to it loads before going out at night :o)

I did 35, I was planning to go to 50, but I'm growing too tired to continue. I will mention though, that my list isn't set in stone, it actually fluctuates quite often. Also, I find myself to enjoy newer Queen rather than old Queen. You'd be more likely to catch me listening to say The Miracle, Innuendo, or Made In Heaven than you would say Queen 2 or News Of The World or Night At The Opera. I'm not saying I don't like the older songs, I just seem to favor the newer. But yes, these lists are fun to make!!

LOL...Yes making lists like these can be tiring and frustrating...with a LOT of "second-guessing" as to if you've got it "right". That's probably why I don't do them much...I'm too lazy.
But I love reading the lists of others. Sometimes, it makes me realise "YES...that song IS good!".
I love The Miracle, Innuendo and Made In Heaven, as well!
