On the way home this evening I had The Show Must Go On (Karaoke / Instrumental) playing quite loud in the car and had a fantastic shivering sensation continuously move across my body and down my back.
Not the first time this has happened but it only happens when I listen to Queen.
Does anyone else experience this and if so to what song/s does it happen during?

happens to me to, happens when i listen to a song with an amazin guitar solo (a queen song of course) or if im in the car and suddenly on the radio comes a queen song (usualy bohemian rhapsody) out of no where comes "is this the real life?" and i wanna scream "YEEAH!" but I'm often speachless
but once i was in a charity shop looking through the music for Queen cd's. So there i was flipping through all this cheap tat, all 90's bands, the i find brian mays solo single driven by you, and my god i stopped breathing literaly! it was in perfect condition since it was the last in stock from woolworths (which was across the road to the charity shop before poor wooly went bust) so theyd sent it over to the shop, and the price from woolies was £2.99, in the charity shop because it just wasnt shifting it was 99p! i picked it up and was sweating all the way to the till, i couldnt believe it! still im in shock, amazing day it was

Shivers? Pffff, with lots of songs.
Bohemian Rhapsody Love of my life The Show must go on "right till the end" in Friends will be friends (although I almost hate this song) "no time for losers" in We are the champions (although I almost hate this song) Don't try so hard The end of Play the game The end of Save me (as I write this, I shiver just because I remembered that part of the song) You take my breath away "You cause me pain" in Jealousy One year of love Too much love will kill you
Just to name a few.

After Freddie's death I went very negative for a long time about "Queen" things without him. Didn't go see Brian tour, saw roger 1994, Refused to go see Q+PR, and only really came out of this state when watching YouTube clips of QPR, sat to about 3am watching everything I could, very emotional, what I had missed! by then it was too late to see them tour. So I've very little experience of seeing Queen+ live. (Too young to see the real Queen live, I was 10 in 1986)
Got tickets to see WWRY in Glasgow. The lights dimmed, the band started Innuendo, then freddie's voice started singing, now THAT gave me goosebumps (as well as a massive lump in my throat). Then many times again during the show, especially Play the game (somehow?)

I always get goose bumps and shivery type feelings with Mother Love and These are the days of our lives and it will happen if i am listening to the radio and a Queen song comes on athough only for the moment of recognition

Plenty of songs sends a shiver down my spine but the one thing that springs to mind straight away is the guitar solo in Made in Heaven, the Queen version not Freddie's version, after "Wish it could last forever, forever........" now that sends my spine a tingling. I found a way to cut that 30 seconds from the song and I have it as my ringtone.

I feel silly admitting it, but I got it the first time I listened to Bible Black after Dio died.
It's happened with Queen before, but it would've been years ago and I can't recall specifics.

"Oh what on earth" bit of In My Defense - dunno what the vocal technique is called. Sounds like he's wheezing, compelling a body shiver in the listener.
The general dourness of Tenement Funster - especially after getting past the facade of wild RnRoller.
Needle skipping bit @ end of TSMGO (not in a good way.)
Any "DoRo Production" title card.

The Freddie part in WWRY on Innuendo sent shivers down my spine too, also, in the same show, when snippets of songs were played, 'Ogre Battle' and 'Death On Two Legs' being two specific snippets. :)

I was going spastic, "oh my god, Radio Gaga!!!!!!!!!!!!!! turn it up!!!!!!" :P but then i will go to a second hand shop and look for Queen or David Bowie albums. I f I find one, I just stand there and..... well it's an orgasmic moment......

But after hearing Bohemian Rhapsody thousands of times, I still get that "YEEEEAH" sensation when it comes on the radio. Glad I'm not the only one.
