I've tried to respond to your PM twice today and it crashed both times. I give up. What I said was thanks so much for thinking of me this time around, but don't worry about sending anything to me. :) For the record, I was 97% joking and just 3% teasing you about the alleged greatness of poop humour. I was in no way actually 'pissed' (or surprised :) at not winning last time. It's been very kind and generous of you to do this for folks and I hope your stuff finds good homes.
You've inspired me to share my extra copy of Jim Hutton's 'Mercury and Me' in this way if anybody has interest. It is ridiculously difficult to find it at a decent price on amazon.com/.ca - note the used copies are listed at $85 - almost $200 right now. For whatever reason almost all of the dirt cheap listings of the book on amazon.uk blocked shipping to my address. I even tried to have a friend in New Zealand purchase it for me and send it on with the same result. So when I finally found one at a decent price that would ship I pounced on it and then pounced again on a second copy in case the first one didn't arrive. In the end they both did, so I have a hard cover I'm keeping and a paperback in good condition I'm willing to send off no charge to anyone who would like it. I'm happy to send it to anyone anywhere, but would like to be able to make a difference to someone who would otherwise have a hard time getting it at a reasonable price. If anyone is interested let me know here or by PM.
Thanks again for the fun contests Paulo. It was nice to hear a few people's stories. :)

Paulo -- i tried pm-ing u a few times and it just won't let me reply :/ But don't worry about sending me stuff, i live in ireland so it will cost u a small fortune to post it here!!! Plus i dont actually have a video player, so someone else would benefit a lot more from the vhses. Thanks so much tho, it was great reading the stories :D And fair play to u for doing it, its brilliant, and i really appreciate it! But don't worry about sending it :) And thank you! :)

Re: replying to pms
Instead of using the reply function in the inbox, copy the id of the person concerned, and go the the Send Message section to post the reply.
If the person can send you a pm from the Send Message section, you can also pm the reply to him the same way. The reply function which is not working just serves to copy and paste the id for you.

The sooner you can post the items, the better, as I am actually expecting to be moving to another place with my fiance by or around July 1 - and with the delays associated with my country's rotating postal strikes, that could have an effect on delivery timing! I assume you're shipping from somewhere in Europe? Thanks in any case though, in advance :-)

Thanks! Still gotta find a new place first, but I'm sure that won't take too long! *fingers crossed we can upgrade from an apartment to a townhouse, or something bigger for that matter*

I remember when i was about 11 my family moved literally up the road -- we had been at one end of the road and we moved to the other end, and it a nightmare, hauling everything up and down the road ina small car cos it was so close lol. (and the new people in the house thought we had left our fish behind and gave them to their daughter and i was broken hearted lol.)
Anyway, all the best with the move! :)

Would be nice if it's close by, since currently I live 10 minutes' walk away from a LRT/bus transit station :-)

You're welcome! Glad it made it there safely, and glad you're enjoying it. Much better than collecting dust at my house. :)
