Need some help here with Sheer Heart Attack tracks.

First, Bring Back that Leroy Brown:
I've read that the live performances of this song were almost entirely instrumental in a medley type treatment with the only notable lyric being the one about Cutie Pie.  Does anyone out there know of a live performance of this song that actually has a more substantial amount of the lyrics (hoping for 100%)????   If not why do you think that was the case, as it's such a great tune?  Is it just too hard to sing live?

Second, She Makes Me:
Why does this have Storm Troopers in Stilettos in parenthesis?  There seems to be nothing to do with any of it in the song. Can't make out the reason for it.

Thanks for your input.

Leroy Brown - Doubt it. Perhaps Freddie found it too taxing to sing and play that simple but fast piano at the same time? Or perhaps they felt the studio version had way too many vocal overdubs that weren't worth even trying to replicate live?

She Makes Me - Roger liked the song but hated the title so he suggested Stormtroopers in Stilletoes because he felt the heavy rhythm of the song sounded just like that. Brian compromised and left Roger's idea as a subtitle.
John hated Hot Space. Frederick's favourite singer was not Paul Rodgers. Roger didn't compose 'Innuendo.' 'Bohemian Rhapsody' hasn't got 180 vocal overdubs.

Freddie was obviously so overcome by his own brilliance that the  words absolutely failed him!

Yes I agree - he is Brilliant!!

I know that this is so pathetic ... but I was holding out hope even for a TOTP lip sync version or something like that.

I know he can sing fast as in "Stone Cold Crazy"  but having to play fast and sing fast at the same time - too much.

So Sebastian, isn't it something how the 40th Anniversary Exhibition was named "Stormtroopers in Stilletos" on all the posters, etc?  This one subtitle coming up to the top.  I really liked that poster and wish it was available for purchase.  I really think it captured their energy, spirit and approach.

The best performance of Bring Back That Leroy Brown is from Himeji 1976. All you have to do is listen to the INCREDIBLE banjo solo by Brian!
