I loved it, Sky + it and will be watching part 2 tonight. yeah great stuff why dont they release Hyde park we got a teaser on day at the races with Take my breath away live so they must have a good recording in the vaults.

They do. I'm sure. The snippets used are from the multi-tracks and they sound ace.

I'd have most liked to have seen more of the behind the scenes 'Crazy Little Thing Called Love' video shoot.   Couple of really interesting clips of what looked like Freddie having fun at the shoot, but unfortunately as with most documentaries someone else was talking over the actual footage that you'd like to be hearing.  Not a massive complaint, enjoyed part one, didn't think I was 'treated' to much I hadn't seen or heard before however.

OK it's the iplayer version, good quality though.

Brian definitely has this thing about "rewriting history of writing credits"..he should stop it...cos it shows a lack of class and dignity...Freddie's not here to say "well actually Brian, i did most of It's late" (or some other bollox)

The ISO file seems to be working fine now as it's uploading, so gonna leave it as it is.

There are other interviews where Brian openly admits, that the riff for the Rock section in Bohemian Rhapsody was Freddie's idea. So I think it's very interesting when he gives some information how the songs came to life. Songs of a band always have input from the other members. Giving information about it has nothing to do with a lack of class or whatever.....

Thanks to the person putting the BBC documentary on youtube, I enjoyed it and really hope they will bring it out on DVD with some extras. 
The "We are the Champions" studio session is amazing. 

The only thing that worries me a bit is the mysterious absence of John Deacon. I hope he is really as well as we all think he should be.....

Err, John Deacon's been dead for 2 years.

Am I the only one who thinks they should have included more John bits? Brian mentioned that 'the three voices blended so well'. Why not include the interview with John saying that he wished he could sing? My signature has the exact quote. It would have solved the big mystery whether he sang or not for the general public. Not to mention that John was part of Queen as well.

Maybe part 2 has more of him...
