I know I am a pian, but is there any other way to download this other than Mediafire?

If the system is working properly, you should be able to download it attached here, but it's a bit temperamental.

Great mix by the way Word ;)

Good work, good times. Just one question - where did you get all the separate tracks for this?

Yes, the Piano riff, is very "Mott The Hoople"   well the guys were hanging out together around this time, sure to rub off.

The piano reminded me a bit like "All The Way From Memphis" Piano.

Not a bad mix, overall, Word.  May I offer a few words of contructive critique?

I like the piano intro - quite inventive, that, but I think I'd have cut it down by a couple of bars.  Sometimes less is more.  ;)  I'd say that the bass guitar is a little high in the mix, and there's a couple of 'missing' vocal bits that I expected to be there, which kind of make it sound 'incomplete' (eg, at 1:30 "you should make me live again", and the "down in the dungeon..." line at 2:05).  There's a volume drop at 3:00.  I see where you were going with it, but if you're going to take something out, always try to compensate the volume.  Perhaps the rhythm guitar should have been left in under the solo?  You did it again at 4:05.  You can bring out the solo without dropping the backing guitar, and it makes less of a jarring volume change.  Apologies if you meant to do it that way as part of the effect!  If so, that didn't quite work for me.  :)

I like what you did with the vocals, and the lead vocal stands out pretty well, especially the delays.  The end is a bit abrupt, but I know that's how the stems end.  It might have been better to have edited in the original 'fade' ending, but I think you'd face a battle with EQ to get it to sound smooth enough.  One major problem is that you've saved it as a comparatively low bitrate (128) MP3, which has compromised the overall sound quality.  I hope you have a lossless backup.  ;)  When I was doing these mixes, I never went below 256kbps when saving as MP3, but if you can manage to save as FLAC, that would be even better.

Cheers,

LF.  :)

Hi Your Lordship,
Again comments taken on board, thank you.

P.s.  Now that all the Multi Track Stems are out there,   Shall we be expecting any new mixes from you in the Near Future?

One mix, from each  song would be good, if you have "enough hours in the day", lol!!!!

Best wishes
Word..

One mix from each of the stems?  So, that's about 20 new mixes then!  You're right, Word, unfortunately, there just aren't enough hours in a day.  ;)
