Does that include The Cross? I know, not technically "solo", but still...

If the albums The albums also with bonus Cross (EP). I think it would be a wonderful idea that contains a rare session material. Cheers

The solo material isn't controlled by Queen Productions. Each member (or Freddie's Estate) controls his work, at least as far as Brian and Roger are concerned. John never issued anything solo as "John Deacon," so his are collaborations are owned by others. The Cross material a whole added complication.

Then there's the issue of some material being attached to different record companies.

Didn't Roger say in an interview that he's re-releasing his solo albums remastered?

The last thing I heard, around the time of his "Everything Is Broken" single, was an interviewer asked if a collection or re-issue was likely. I think Roger's response was like, "Yeah, it could happen." I remember it sounding non-committal. It doesn't mean it can't happen, but such re-issues may not be in the works at the moment. It's more likely we'll get another Roger solo album first.

Roger's album should have been released last year.
But I see the other side, beyond the solo works that will improve the bonus tracks from the bonus EP. I do remember the anthologies of Beatles songs such as The Kiss and Football fight, make them more interesting. Finally, new material is always welcome by fans.

Cheers friends!

Rog Q&A on QOL 13th March 2011:

Now that Queen has moved to a new record label, what will become of your solo material? Will that too, see a reissue, and if so, will they be given a clean up too?

I am collecting and collating my solo material and hope to release re-mastered versions, hopefully, along with an album of new material in the next year.

In that case, awesome!

Hopefully that means bonus tracks on each album.

Fun In Space
+ I Wanna Testify
+ Turn On The TV
+ How Come You're Some Dumb (Hilary Hilary)
+ Rich Kid Blues (Hilary Hilary)
+ My Country (Single Version)
+ Demos/Alternate Mixes

(I don't think there are any non-album tracks recorded for this, given Roger recorded it in October/November of 1980, as the band was finishing Flash Gordon).

Strange Frontier
+ Two Sharp Pencils (Get Bad)
+ Keep On Runnin'
+ I Wanna Take You Higher
+ I Can Take You Higher
+ Other Demos & Single/Extended Versions

Happiness?
+ Final Destination (with Yoshiki)
+ Nazis 1994 (Explicit Version)
+ Dear Mr. Murdoch (Promo Version)
+ Single Versions & Remixes

Happiness? Tour (Shepherd's Bush Concert)
I've only head the live tracks that were b-sides to the "Happiness" singles, which are great, but a full concert, either by itself or as a 2-disc set with the album (+bonus tracks) would be sweet.

Electric Fire
+ Keep A'Knockin'
+ One Night Stand
+ Single Versions & Remixes

Live At the Cyberbarn concert
As with the Shepherd's Bush concert, this would be nice to have in its entirety either by itself or doubled up with the album (+bonus tracks)

Forthcoming Album (Deluxe Edition)
+ The Unblinking Eye (Everything Is Broken) (Almost Completely Naked)
+ the 3 Felix & Arty Mixes

+ Driven By You Two
+ I'm Scared (Original Version)
+ Just One Life (Guitar Version)
+ Nothin' But Blue (Guitar Version)
+ Too Much Love Will Kill You (Guitar Version)
+ Last Horizon (Backing Track)
+ Resurrection (Single Version)
+ Driven By You (Radio Mix)

Another World
