No objection to anyone singing the song, but it's not really much of a cover, just a verse and the end part, just used to segue into the next song.

She totally flubbed the lyrics. Otherwise, who cares. She has a decent voice and is free to sing the song.

I say let 'em keep covering it - it just makes the original stand out even more.

I was there last night in Nice, France, to watch her show. She introduced it saying "it's the first time she was going to perform some songs from people who inspired her so much". She sang Bo Rhap and Kings of Leon's sex on fire, mostly just piano and voice
exactly just a verse with some lyrics messed up but she was singing at her best. Crowd not so enthousiastic (especially on sex on fire which probably 4/5 of the audience didn't recognize) but it was well received after all.

I think people easily forget that stars are fans too !

It's a free world and for one I am proud that any artist wants to cover Queen music, I would be un happy if they didnt to be honest. Like us it's all part of keeping the bands legacy alive.

Just spare a thought, Beyonce fans will hear her sing bo rap & I will guarentee that some of them will be asking parents to buy the Queen album it's from etc as everyone has to hear it regardless for the first time.

Incidentaly, Beyonce recorded WWRY for the pepsi ad some years ago so it shouldnt come as a big shock that the girls got good taste as well as a nice arse !

I agree with you.

And I don't like what Beyonce did with Bo Rhap, but if I were a famous singer, I would cover Queen songs, too.
