Seeing as he seems to get better and better with each passing day, Brian's guitar on... um... ANYTHING new would work for me.

Great Idea!  We'll call it '40 (the sequel to '39)

Brian should not sing on a new album, because his voice is not strong enough. Roger is the one with the distinctive and quality  voice, he could do a better job.

But really they need to get someone in who can not only sing, but also write music that isn't generic blues bollocks like Paul Rodgers is so fond of.
I think a Queen+ Rebecca Black Album would have such a sucess!

I think that there should be many more Queen + studio l.p.s of new songs PLUS cover versions from other artists AND re-recordings of old Queen songs...multiple versions!!!!    It's SOOO much fun!!!   It's not like a religion or something you know?

Speak for yourself!

I've enjoyed all the Queen+ and post-Freddie projects of newer material and some of the Queen+ releases which were re-recordings.

If you don't, that's fine, but don't assume you speak for a majority. Of the million of fans out there, all of us here represent a mere fraction and one that's by no means entirely reflective of the world at large.

It's not anything, it's just speculation. Try reading the thread.

i think it would be great if they would do a new album. I like their voices. And they can write great songs, we all know that. They are musicians , they have the right to continue their careers even though Freddie died and John retired. Writing and performing songs are their jobs, why shoud they stop doing that? They really don´t need to prove anything to anybody anymore, and i doubt that they´d do anything just for the money. i think they have enough of that. Let´s let these fine people do what they love to do.

Yes, I think a new album is a good idea.

Even though Freddie's absence on a new album would be sorely missed, ..I still believe that the remainder of the band can still put out an album that could "stun" the music industry.. just by throwing in a few of Freddies' "Gallelios" here and there, and a tricky album name,( 'made in heaven' was great). ..Brian, Roger, and (hopefully) John are professionals, this can happen, but they need our support,   ...not whining about '
'no freddie/ who's gonna sing? oooo0000hhhhHHHH!!!!! ...IDIOTS!!!   ; )

I would like to hear a new Roger Taylor and a new Brian May album. They made very good music in the 90s.

'Happiness' and 'Another World' were great albums in the 90's, but that's besides the point.
I think it's a lovely idea, I'm open to anything they do, but only if they do it well, if it's a bad album due to bad lyrics and terrible instrumentation, then i'll criticise it, but these guys are perfectionist's with ample time, if they did it, id be near certain it would be one of their best albums in years. :)

Maybe a new album with other artists singing new or old queen songs. Its been 20 years since the freddie tribute so why not do a studio version album?
