Didn't U2 cover WWRY during their shows sometime around 1987~1989? I swear I have a copy of one such performance from some audience recording in my covers collection somewhere...

U2 have released a lot of mediocre to poor albums. They have also rleased one of the best and one of the worst I;ve heard in Zooropa and Pop. And if you can't figure out which is which, your ears must be painted on :)

That's the one. Ears fine. Zooropa is U2's only outstanding album. Funny you should say that about Pop. For me too, that was the time I started thinking "You know what? U2 are a bit shit". Had the same thought around midway into Oasis's career. By then, everyone else had beaten me to it ;)
