RAF Cranwell - Anthems in The Park

Just Read something online, that has just cheered me up, After doing several of the Anthems Tour gigs,I'm extremely happy with what the program of events will be for the RAF Cranwell gig, Not only do we get "Brian & Kerry"  but we also get a Fly-by & a display from "The Blades" (Not Sheffield United, lol!!!)  weather permitting.

Well, Brian did say that we will be getting something special for the Cranwell gig (no "Born Free") but after reading the event programe posted on the RAF Cranwell website, all I can say is I'm extremely happy with the songs chosen. Although as good as the "Anthems" Tour was. The Setlist became a bit of the "Same Old - Same Old" but with this next gig, & the show is in 2 halves, well see for your selves:-

Part 2, I would imagine we get the rest of the set list, Then a Firework Encore followed by "Anthem" & "Pomp & Circ No.1"

Also Looking forward to the "John Williams" Orchestral selection , Darth Vader's/Star Wars Theme, Indiana Jone's  Temple of Doom Theme, wow!!!

Well, I have to agree, it looks good!!!!

The Show opens with the "National Anthem"  although not listed as Brian Playing on this (He's up on Track 2,  so he'll be around the stage somewhere)  I wonder if he'll be playing it "LIVE" again?   + if Brian Does open the show with the "National Anthem"  How great it is for him to close with "Pomp & Circumstances No.1"

Yes already got this recording, as the whole show is being MIMED, got the master recording from the studios where they recorded it, all I need to do now is edit in a few crowd noises ect. must also point out that the air display will not be live either, as it has been pre- filmed already  & they are going to project the whole thing in 3D to a giant overhead screen,(only Viewable when purchasing one of Brian's Owls)  & the screen will be suspended by sky hooks fastened to the 4 Magic Tour '86  inflateables. The Orchestra, Brian, Kerry & Brian's Band are all Robots & Look-alikes (Or Both). The only real Live aspect to the show, will be Brian, Flying around the event in his newly Bought "Red Arrow" (got it at a bargain price from the m.o.d)  as he has just got his pilots licence, to go along with his Phd.... ;-)
