Something that is been on mind for a while...maybe someone here can clear it out.

On the announcements of the upcomming WORKS tour, on the T-shirts , in the fanclub magazine, even in the 1984 works tour book : there were 2 nights at Leiden presented. On sept. 19th. and 20th.

Somehow the 19th got cancelled... Does any one know the reason why ?

I cannot imagine dissapointing tickets sales could be the reason. Queen had 2 nr. 1 hits here in Holland from the WORKS album.

Also the Dutch book for Queen en Vadeland doesn't give any info on this.

Good question.

Maybe Fred had vocal problems?

Maybe it is linked to the Brussels date which was added on the 21st. Probably the day off was the 21st originally and when they added the Brussels show, they cancelled the Leiden show. Are there some tickets available for the 19th September show?

There was never a 19th concert planned.. If so i would have had tickets :)

Due to fast tickets sales an extra concert was added in Brussels.. as i recall it....

Well I'm sure there were plans for the 19th. On the toushirts 19th and 20 september were printed. In the fanclub magazine both dates of Leiden were mentioned. Even in the tourbook both dates can be found.

Was this about the time Freddie injured his leg?
