As this is my first post, I'd like to introduce myself a bit. I found Queen exactly a year ago when I wanted to hear the original version of Stone Cold Crazy, which has been covered by Metallica (my favourite band then/nowadays my second favourite band) every now and then. I really didn't fall in love with the original version which of course was Queen's. But then I saw at Youtube,  a requested video to Bohemian Rhapsody performed by Queen live in Montreal 1981. And that was it. There really haven't been turning back since then. Obviously I knew the biggest hits before, included We Are The Champions, We Will Rock You, Who Wants To Live Forever and Friends Will Be Friends (at least those were the songs that Finnish mainstream radio stations liked to play), and I sort of a knew Bohemian Rhapsody but really never thought what band had created and performed it. I have to admit, that my love begun to grow after I found what happened to Freddie when I read why Metallica we're playing on the Freddie Mercury Tribute Concert.

Since then I've pretty much covered all the albums and the best live performances. Queen we're always a great live band, as was/is Metallica, and that's why I fell in love straight away when I saw those live performances on Youtube of Bohemian Rhapsody, We Are The Champions and Love Of My Life. I must admit that I haven't turned back when i first discovered  the real Queen, particularly in live. If I try to remember my last twelve months what comes to music, I really can't find anything else on my playlist but Queen. I think I'm pretty well aware of what the band established during their prime career. Please don't flame, I love Queen and especially Mr. Mercury. I'd like to thank Mr. GregSynthBootlegs for your fantastic uploads at Youtube which cover Queen's prime era of live playing. I know you're registered at these forums so thank you, I'm your subscriber.

My favourite Queen songs which depends primarily on my mood, but to cut the list to short:

1) Ogre Battle
2) Save me
3) White Queen (As It Began)
4) Nevermore
5) The Show Must Go On
6) Bohemian Rhapsody
7) The March Of The Black Queen
8) Funny How Love Is
9) Teo Torriatte
10) Who Want's To Live Forever
11) Mother Love
12) Somebody To Love
13) Lily Of The Valley
14) Flash
15) The Hero
16) Brighton Rock
17) Liar
18) In Only Seven Days
19) Love Of My Life
 20) Freddie Mercury - In My Defence (I know this isn't even Freddie's song, but I just have to add this)

The list goes on and on and on. I'm pretty sure that Queen will always be at my TOP3 in bands, even tho' I'd be 70 years old. Haven't found a single thing that has countered my believe. Nothing, from Freddie's sex life to Brian's suicidal thoughts in the late eighties. There's too many songs, too many albums, four too many personalities that I could speak with you all day long.

Hey. :)

My story's in the same vein, it's mad how you come across these bands.
Anyways, just backing up GratefulFan, didn't want you to go unnoticed either. Welcome, hope you like the site.
Great start for a first post by the way. :)
