And thanks for sharing David, that's very generous! :-)

I can definitely hear the words "back to storm" in there. As for the Piano demo, I reckon it's fake - it sounds like the same track with the vocals turned down (there are definitely vocal leaks....).
Thought the same, maybe the piano 'demo' is lifted from the multitrack

From a legal point of view, this is interesting.
After the recent sharing of the BBC recordings over here I wonder if QPL would mind if this and other tracks will be shared in lossless format with proper lineage. I also wonder if they have a copy of this and the previously leaked rare Freddie recordings (for instance: You Are The Only One".) If they HAVE a copy, why aren't these tracks on the Freddie Mercury solo collection box? I think "You Are The Only One" is far more interesting than most of what ended up on the boxset.
Maybe the owner of this can do someting similar to what a certain person did when he wanted to share his minidisc mastercopy of Queen's BBC recordings? If the owner does not want / dare: Maybe a similar construction can be made and Pittrek wants to do the "dangerous" sharing again?
Would sharing tracks like this one be a risky thing to do? It could be. These aren't unofficial fan made live concert recordings (wich are being shared here all the time, and wich does seem to be OK). Also, if you compare this to the BBC tracks wich has been shared here, the BBC tracks were broadcast on radio so potentially many people could have recorded and collected them already anyway. This "Back To Storm" track (stupid fan made title by the way) is different. I can imagine that QPL didn't care much about the fact that the BBC tracks were shared overhere, but I think they DO have a problem with the fact that this track and others like "You Are The Only One" are out there.
BUT... Let's assume that "Fried Chicken" is correct and Freddie recorded this at home, gave a cassette copy to a friend and that friend on his turn, for whatever reason, decides to leak these tracks: Are the tracks copyright protected? Can QPL claim property? Or was it up to Freddie himself to decide what to do with his homemade recordings and who to give a copy? I think the latter is correct. If so, these tracks can be shared freely.
Some final thoughts: - David R Fuller should stop wondering why his youtube account has been deleted. It will happen again. - Jim Beach has been a lawyer and QPL is wealthy enough to rent the best lawyers. - It's not very smart to mention the name PF over here. - It's up to the owner of the property of (a) recording(s) to decide wether this will be shared or not. (not you David...silly boy) - The fact that this has been shared on youtube is a pitty for a potential future Queen release.

Fred pretty clearly sings 'coming on far/much too strong'. Funny though, the title, given our recent Queen + The Weather blather. :)

Should you download David R Fuller's remixes compilation, you'll find he's done a pretty great re-mix with that track too. Listed as "London Jam" - Thanks Dave:
Well, in some contracts you are forbidden to give your tracks to another production company. Or use your tracks on your website as a portfolio. But I don't think there are contracts that say you can't give a recording to a friend.
And also, that friend can do with the recordings what he wants. If he chooses to give them away to one of his friends, so be it.

What do you mean? Do you still believe that greedy idiots from QPL gonna release "The Anthology" boxed set? I think that it's obvious that QPL just fooling us more than fifteen years.

Yes. I still believe their will be a boxset. QPL = Roger Taylor, Brian May, John Deacon, Jim Beach.
Bit silly to call the people in the band you like 'greedy idiots' don't you think?

Being greedy idiots and being talented musicians aren't mutually exclusive.

People On Streets asked about who owns the rights to certain leaked material.
The simple answer is: the copyright holder. Most countries' laws reflect copyright ownership by the writer of the lyrics and the writer of the music. If Freddie recorded a song, gave a copy to his friend and that friend leaked it, Freddie is still the copyright holder. If the leak occurred after his death, Freddie's Estate is the copyright holder. If Freddie signed the copyright over to the friend, legally saying "This song belongs to you, along with all the rights and future royalties," the friend would then own it. An estate can sell/give away the rights as well, such as to a hospital or charity. An artist can sign a contract giving the rights to his music to the record or management company (this happened between Mike Oldfield and Richard Branson, Oldfield is only now getting the rights back).

Thanks for the link.
Yup, Jim Beach, Brian and Roger are always looking out for the fans. Consider that about 15 bootleg tracks of Freddie's were not included on the 'Solo Collection'. Especially 'It's In Everyone Of Us'. What a shame that was not included.
GH III. Rocks. Damn, you guys can't show up one time at a convention. Or you screw over people who flew to Las Vegas for the WWRY premiere to meet you because they were picked in a lottery ............only you are 'too busy' (lazy, noncaring, hungover) to meet those 'lucky' fifty people.
And the reissues with the piddly bonuses....or lack thereof (which the two of us have avoided like the plague).............. nuff said.
Keep giving us these little golden nuggets, Mr. Fuller.

You're welcome to those who thanked.
And my channel has never had an issue with Mr. Beach or QPL, all copyright issues have been from obscure companies regarding one single video. I never wonder "why" my channel gets taken down sometimes, I know why, and I just fix it :)
For all the poor decisions QPL have made in the past years, give them credit for knowing that they know there is nothing bad in having their music being spread amongst the people, any way possible, especially if its free for them.
