Nice, thanks!

The backing track is quite similar to the album cut, but Freddie's vocal take is an interesting one. Even he seems to have some trouble singing the song properly!

Thanks for the share! Definately looks like Freddie was trying to find his way through the song blindly, but in the end did a fantastic vocal for the finished product...was always one of my favorites!

P.S. - can we get a moderator to get rid of some of these ppl on here that have nothing but garbage coming out of their mouth, and can't even talk their garbage in proper English? I'm just sayin here...

Actually, epistolary evidence suggests the liner notes were wrong (as it was often the case) and sessions for that album began in late November 1989. Which means this early take is from either November/December 1989 or early 1990.

'1989 mix' is a fan-made subtitle which can easily be spot-on and can just as easily be misleading.
John hated Hot Space. Frederick's favourite singer was not Paul Rodgers. Roger didn't compose 'Innuendo.' 'Bohemian Rhapsody' hasn't got 180 vocal overdubs.

No/i think he means that 89 mix is't the original name of the song because it could be recording in late 89 or in early 90/

As far as I know, this demos has been recorded on a newly discovered demo tape from early 1989 (AFTER The Miracle sessions).

Affairs, Grand Dame, Don't Try So Hard and Barcelona (Later Version — Different Mix) were on the same tape. There was also finished I'm Going Slightly Mad on this demo tape, which means that this song was written and recorded in 1989 too and probably roots in the Miracle sessions.

Have you got any source for that?

And yes: I mean that while the track is genuine, it's most likely from late '89 or early '90.

Whilst I have absolutely no proof, the fact that the backing track is pretty much the same as the final version leads me to go with Sebastian in saying that this is likely to be a version from later in the Innuendo sessions.  If it were an early verison I would expect marked differences in drum, bass and guitar parts as the band gradually find their way into the song, before settling on their final parts which are eseentially all on this take.
