Let's have a positive thread to counter the "10 things you hate most" thread ..

I can't make a list of the things I like most, so this is just a list of ten things I love. Some may be on my ultimate 'gun pointed at my head' list, others may not be. They are: (in no specific order)

1)Seeing a fantastic film for the first time.
2)Hearing a great joke for the first time.
3)Romance.
4)A challenging and exciting discussion with someone who enjoys the thrashing out of ideas, and which doesn't end in an argument. An example being the discussions of taboos with my father.
5)Seeing my niece. God, I miss her!
6)The success of my family and friends. This used to relate to financial/material success, however now, I just want my family and friends to be happy as I know that the life I dream for them is not necessarily the life they want (my brother is a lawyer, but contrary to my dreams, does not want to become a judge or a partner in his law firm.)
7)Seeing Freddie's name gets mentioned in an article or interview which isn't related to Queen. The fact that numerous artists cite him as an influence, and hearing him get name checked in 'Grace Kelly', is a massive thrill. I still don't think he gets the respect he deserved.
8)Discovering a new musical artist (I've become really into 70's soul & funk).
9)Being able to sleep (I suffer from sleep problems).
10)Glimpsing a beautiful man or woman.

1. Animal testing. There's nothing funnier than a monkey with electrodes drilled into it's skull.
2. The special olympics. I'm not a huge fan of sport but this is always good for a laugh.
3. Amputee porn. I like the way it leaves something to your imagination.
4. Jingling sleigh bells outside an oprphanage on Christmas eve and shouting HO HO HO at the top of your voice. Then returning the following morning to see the look of dispair on their faces.
5. Kicking someone when they're down.
6. Jaffa Cakes.
7. Dressing up as the grim reaper and hanging around outside a hospice.
8. Starting unfounded rumours.
9. The fact that lifetimefanofqueen is a holocaust denier and doesn't care who knows it.
10. Denzel Washington movies.

LOL fatty's post made me laugh, especially because--being serious---I would have Special Olympics in my top 10. My brother's been volunteering with the organization for the last five years and I have been volunteer partner myself for the last two, and it really is a bunch of laughs. I don't mean laughs as in making fun of the athletes---but just a great time. I really do get just as much out of being there as the athletes do. I'm a cynical and depressing person in general, but spending time with them truly cheers me up and lightens my heart and makes me really appreciate the little things in life a lot more. (awww how cliche)...so here's my list! (I'm going to exclude people from the list, otherwise my boyfriend and family would be there):

1.  My dog.
2. Special Olympics!!!
3. COD Nazi Zombies (I am addicted....almost beat level 20 the other day...I'm determined to make it to 25)--which is hard for me to believe because I have never touched the xbox up until six months ago...
4. Spicy food! And cooking in general. If it's not hot enough to make grown men cry then it's not spicy enough for me.
5. Cardio on the elliptical....I love a good work out.
6.The wonderful music of Mr. Alice Cooper.
7. Werewolf movies of all kinds, especially low-budget ones. I have almost 50 of them. 
8. True crime & Stephen King books.
9. Traveling!
10. A day at the shooting range.

1)My Family, im very close to them.
2)My friends, ie, my second family. :P
3)Money (I know I sound so capitalist, but really, everyone needs money to do anything in life)

8 - The mischief that my 2 year old niece gets up to and the way she tries to act cute when caught
